Having this stunning beach/lake nearby is one of my favorite parts of living in Cle Elum. Just a short drive away, you'll have a stunning lake surrounded by mountains. Great for hanging on the shore, paddleboarding, boating, swimming etc.

When Lake Cle Elum gets too crowded on the weekends, all the locals love driving a bit further to get up to Cooper Lake. Stunning views of the mountains with lots of spots to post-up for the day.

Teanaway is SUCH a gem. This is a massive community forest with lots of less-visited areas to explore. We've enjoyed coming up here to go camping and hiking.

Go-to area in the winter for skiing, snowboarding, tubing, snowshoeing etc. only a 30 min drive away. We love to take advantage of the proximity by going skiing on weeknights and then grabbing dinner and a drink on the pass!
