Take the dart (train) to howth and do the cliff walk. It is really beautiful and a piece of West Coast Ireland in Dublin. Bring a swimming suit if you want to brave the cold Irish sea at Smugglers Bay (careful, it’s a really step descent to the bay, so only go down if it’s not too slippery). And enjoy fish and chips in Howth town afterwards.

Whether you want to pay the ticket to get into the museum to see the Book of Kells and the old library, or not. Definitely take a walk over Trinity Campus! The belltower is one of Dublins landmarks. And the Geology building (Museum building) is elaborately decorated with Irish flora and fauna - take a peak inside the front door to see the giant Irish deer.

Gray for running or cycling through. It is an enormous park. Look out for the deer, usually on the left side somewhere behind the pitches. But please don’t feed them!

Temple Bar is THE pub in Temple Bar, Dublins Pub District. It is fun and very big. That being said, it is very touristy and dear (you won’t find a more expensive pint than in this pub). So to protect your wallet I suggest to move on to another pub after a pint here.

Great pub in the center, off Temple Bar. There is live music downstairs sometimes. For more good live music also try Merchant’s Arch at Hapenny bridge
