Friendly people, Loud as well
Don’t be scared by all the noise, the culture is very loud! The apartment is located in a very quiet and reserved area, but once you’re out and about you’ll see a lot of music, children playing, and animals walking around. Don’t be afraid to say hi to anyone, they’re all Nice and would love to help!
Ways to save
Keep the currency
If you have USD keep some in your pocket, a lot of things are taken in USD and changing your currency can lower the value if you need it changed back! So a little tip: have a 100$ USD? Only change 70$ and keep the other 30 until you must change it
What to pack
Easy to forget, important to remember
Sunscreen is a MUST! Our beautiful Caribbean island has a high UV index, and it’s important to wear your sunscreen before leaving the apartment. Pack some mosquito repellent for when you’re exploring, and a hat can come in handy with the blinding sun. Oh! And a light sweater or cardigan, there can be chilly evenings and we won’t want them to catch you by surprise .
