Ruth's is iconic. The restaurant was built out of an old train car and has fabulous breakfast and lunch options. It is literally nestled in the mountains and the scenery along with the great food is hard to beat. There's a lot of character to this restaurant. We've always had a good experience.

Christopher's is one of our favorite steak houses. It's based downtown with access to nightlife. Christopher's is a fabulous place to have some fine dining and a night on the town. This is a more formal setting, dress appropriately. It's priced like a fine dining establishment so be prepared to spend $50+ per person.

Cafe Rio is a Utah Staple. It's a Mexican food chain and a little bit different tasting than Tex Mex or authentic Mexican food. Give it a try. Anything with the sweet pork is fabulous. We also really like the mint limeade.

Black Bear serves hearty breakfast all day long. They also serve you standard American dishes like hamburgers and fries. The pancakes here can't be beat in my opinion if you like your pancakes sweet. This is a great place if you're itching for some home cooked breakfast foods.

If you're looking for sushi, Itto is the place to go. The sushi is arguably some of the best in the state. There are lots of unique combinations as well as some of your standard ones such as the California roll. The service here is some of the best we've ever experienced when eating out. The staff is always very friendly and quick to help. It's always busy if you go during lunch or dinner but people move through fairly quickly.

Park City is the place to be if you'd like to hang out with some A Class movie stars. Will Smith and Robert Redford are a couple of the big names who own houses up here. Park City is a ritzy ski town with lots of boutique shops to eat, coffee to drink, nightlife, as well as beautiful views. It offers skiing, snowboard, mountain biking, zip lining, cart riding, and hiking.

Parks & Nature

Little Cottonwood Canyon has some of the best views of the Wasatch Front. Sheer rock cliffs, giant forested areas, snow in the winter, picnic areas to have a cookout, and hiking trails are a few of the things this canyon has to offer.

Arts & Culture

Temple square is the place to learn more about the Mormon culture in Utah. Everything about how it started to how it shapes Utah today. You can have a look at the outside of one of the Mormon worship buildings, called a temple, as well as see some of the original buildings that were the first in the city. Find a sister missionary to walk you around. They have black name badges with white lettering that say their name. They will be happy to show you around. *Bonus: This is free
