Beaches
A secluded beach within a 5 minute walk from Rosalie Apartments. Once you leave the apartments turn right on Seaside Dr. and walk straight along the paved road until you see a dirt road (next to a Spanish Villa) and walk along the coast to Rescue Beach. It is next to Surfers Bay Beach Bar.

Super nice beach which we recommend as you 1st Choice with lots beach and shade if you want it. Vendors rent chaise lounges, there is a bar located in a bus at the beach AND Casper's Beachside Restaurant and Bar directly behind the beach. You could also walk into Oistins for lots of food options too. This beach is a 3o minute walk away or a 5 minute drive.

Another popular beach is Dover Beach in St. Laurence Gap is a 15 minute drive away. It has fresh water showers available and we recommend using Charles Watersports for your chair and beach fun rentals.

One of our favorite local restaurants that we highly recommend. Sitting is in a shaded or open deck atmosphere. We have been there for Sunday brunch too and it is very good.

For the best Acai and fruit bowls around, you have to go to Epic Café. Reasonably priced and loaded with granola, fruit, and everything else that makes them so wonderful.

Surfers Café is a great breakfast and lunch place. It is very well known with the locals. They also have live Reggae bands playing from time to time. Typically posted on a chalk board in front of the building.

Massy Stores Supermarket in Oistins is the largest and closest grocery store. You will find a good selection here but don't forget about supporting the local street side vendors for your fruit and vegetables. It would be 7 minute drive away.

City advice
Getting around
Walking around is great but a Rental Car is better
We would advise hiring a car - for ease of transporting all your stuff around, and being able to venture to all the different sides of the island. We use and recommend Stoutes Car Rental Company. They will drop the car off and pick it up at Rosalie Apartments. Of course, you can pick it up and drop it off at the airport too. They are very convenient and accommodating!
You can also hire bikes to cycle around the island on.
However, the public bus system is also easily accessible from the property and is a very reasonable price.
