This little sushi spot is an extra 5-10 minute walk down Agricola St. towards the North End, and well worth it. It only has a 4 seater bar, so take out may be required. Two person operation, with delicious sushi and the karage (fried chicken) is especially yummy.

About 30 minutes from my place. One of my favourite beaches. On a good day, white sand, decent temperature, full sun. And the drive if you take Highway 3 from Exit 5 is really pretty.

Shopping

They Hydrostone has a nice combo of restaurants and a few shops to check out. A good place to go spend a morning. You can start at Julien's café, wander into Lady Luck to look at local jewelry and oddities, stop in at Liquid Gold to do some olive oil and balsamic tastings, pick up some yarn at LK Yarn. When you're ready for lunch there is Salvatore's for pizza or Hamachi for sushi.
