Mcp's tap house is a great local place. Its just across the Stateline so it does close at 2am but its a great restaurant, bar, and grill with live music and a nice outdoor fireplace seating area in the front.

If you have a chance go over to Cave Rock. even just in the parking lot is absolute stunning view right down by the water. You can also go up the road and park and hike up to the peak of the rock and its breathtaking. Even being a local I frequent the top of cave rock just to relax and take in the panoramic views of Lake Tahoe!

If you have a chance to take drive around the lake and see the iconic Emerald bay you won't be sorry! This is one of the most photographed places in the world and for good reason! You can park and walk down and see the water falls, vikings home, and an immersive forest right down to the water. You can also walk up to the larger waterfalls across the street.
