Hot Suppa is a Portland staple for a sit-down style breakfast. Waits can be very long so I recommend putting your name in and planning to walk around for the wait. Grab a donut at one of the many awesome spots nearby while you wait for their text that your table is ready!

Smalls recently opened in 2022 and features a hip restaurant with small plates meets coffee shop meets grocery. It is a great place for whatever you're in the mood for and under a 10 minute walk from us!

We love Forage! It's located on the other side of town from us so it's a great place to go to if you're planning to explore the East Bayside neighborhood or Munjoy Hill after. We also love to grab a bagel sandwich to go here and bring it to the Eastern Promenade to eat.

Hands down the best smoothie bowl we've had - in the world! Blake Orchard knows how to make the most delicious smoothies, bowls, mylks and juices. It is a bit of a drive from us but if you're planning to explore the Woodford Corner neighborhood, or heading home, we highly recommend!

The West End is where we're located! Aside from peaceful living, my favorite thing to do in the West End is go for long walks around the historical mansions near the Western Promenade.

Munjoy Hill is located on the top of the East End - the opposite side of the city to where we are located but this bustling neighborhood has a lot to offer! We love to access the Eastern Promenade from here for breathtaking views of Casco Bay, or go to local eats like The Front Room, Blue Spoon, or Hilltop Coffee Shop.

The Old Port is great for exploring Portland's old cobblestone streets, the working waterfront, and lots of local shops and restaurants. You can spend the whole day exploring here! About a 15 minute walk from us, or 5 minute Uber.

Daytime Excursions

The Eastern Prom has so much to offer! Whether it's bringing a picnic or grabbing a bite from a food truck there and just enjoying the breathtaking views, playing tennis, or walking the Eastern Trail along the water - it has a little bit of everything. A can't miss Portland experience.

Peaks Island offers a unique experience to get out of the city of Portland in the warmer months. I highly recommend a day trip to the island which is only a 10-15 minute ferry ride from Portland. Ride bikes or golf carts around the island, grab a bite to eat, or post up at one of the many beaches for the day.

Portland headlight is beautiful and has breathtaking views of Casco Bay's many islands. About a 10-15 minute drive from us, you'll feel like you're far away from the city without the commute. Bring your lunch and sit on the grass, or your sneakers for the accompanying cliff walk.

Thompson's Point has a little bit of everything in the special events category. It's a quick uber ride from our place, but situated on the river, it creates a magical setting for summer events and live music. Hit up Bissell Brothers Brewery or Rosemont Wine Bar. The Children's Museum & Theatre of Maine is also new to this area.

Amazing farm to table restaurant in one of Portland's oldest buildings just above Standard Bakery. We highly recommend Fore Street for a fine dining experience in a more casual setting. Warning! Reservations are hard to come by for this spot. If you haven't made one, it's recommended to stand in line and put your name in 15-30 minutes before opening.
