Sightseeing

There’s a great public beach if you wanna relax, I also highly recommend the pontoon rentals, not super expensive and you get to experience the entire lake! There are many trails to hike in the area with beautiful sights and waterfalls! If you like to fish, this lake has large trout as well as lots of other fish!

Lake Granby is the third largest lake in Colorado. The lake is home to several fish, including sockeye salmon and various trout species, making it the perfect spot for fishing enthusiasts. It's a fun spot to visit with the family for a day out on the water. You can go swimming, fishing, or sunbathing while in the area.

Less then a 30 minute drive to Winter Park Ski resort! Shred some slopes or if it’s not winter then enjoy a gondola ride to the top of the mountain, you can bike down or just enjoy the views. Don’t want to go to the top? Well there’s plenty to do in WP village! Restaurants and mini golff, rock walls ect!

In the summer you can hike up this mountain, You can also drive most of the way up and hike the last portion or take a $15 chairlift ride from the base to the top. Beautiful views and even a wedding venue. In the winter this resort offers great skiing at an affordable price! (And offers night skiing!) this mountain is very friendly to beginners but offers lots of options to more advanced skiing as well.

Food is phenomenal! 5 star restaurant with great staff. However, make a reservation before hand, it can be hard to get into.

Golf

If you like to golf you are in the right place! offers stunning mountain views from every hole. The course has a links-layout inspired by the inland golf courses of the British Isles. The low-lying vegetation and gently rolling terrain lend a heathland feel to the course. The fairways are wide and undulating and the large greens have ample contours as well. The layout has an interesting mix of holes with some that are straightforward and others that twist into tricky doglegs, but nearly all are flanked with sod-faced bunkers. There are more than 60 bunkers coming into play throughout Grand Elk Golf Club, and water hazards come into play on four holes. Besides just being a fun and challenging round, the magnificent views that stretch across the snow-capped peaks of the Continental Divide are not to be missed. And the cabin your staying in is located on the 18th hole! You can end your game by driving the cart right back to the cabin to relax and enjoy the rest of the day.
