Don't miss
Check out the Fighter Jets!
At the China Lake Museum, you can park there during business hours & take pictures of the fighter jets outside. They’re really a sight to see & something very unique to Ridgecrest. Next door, the Maturango Museum hosts scheduled guided hikes to see the petroglyphs that are native to our town.

Cheapest Gas Stations
Kwik Serv (closest to the apt) & Fastrip generally have the lowest gas prices here. The gas station on base is comparable but you would need a CAC card to get in. The closer you are to leaving town, the higher the prices are.

Grocery Shopping
The closest grocery store is Albertsons. It is pricier even with using your discount. If you’re not in a hurry, it could be worth the drive to the Walmart Supercenter where they do have good quality groceries at a lower price.
