Hands down, this is the best place to get house made Gelato and baked goods and freshly roasted coffee. They never disappoint and the great news is this place is just around the corner from the Contemporary house (less than 5 mins walk) and across from the Bannerman Park.

I tried all the bakeries in this city, and I am confident that you won't miss the target with Georgestown Bakery. There is simply so much variety of bread -which by the way I tried them all :) - that you won't be disappointed. Just a heads-up, on Saturday mornings the line is long!
My favorites are the brioch, garlic bread, olive bread, chocolate and orange bread, poppy seed bagel, and Christmas bread!

Georgestown Bakery
60 Hayward AveI tried all the bakeries in this city, and I am confident that you won't miss the target with Georgestown Bakery. There is simply so much variety of bread -which by the way I tried them all :) - that you won't be disappointed. Just a heads-up, on Saturday mornings the line is long!

Bannerman brewery is a locally owned microbrewery, tasting room, and event space. They also have a rotating menu for served foods.
I love the open space and the tall ceilings inside particularly in chiller days and the outside patio in summer. The vibe is great especially if you have good company! :)

Despite flashy interior design, you can get a hardy and Newfie brunch here. This cafe is only 5 minutes walk from Contemporary house. My favourites are the touton (fried fresh dough) egg Benedict, smoked salmon bagel, or just touton with molasses.
The food portions are huge so I recommend you share a plate! :)
