Salmon River Falls is absolutely gorgeous during all 4 seasons of the year. There is a nice nature trail to the top of the falls, stairs and trail to the lower falls and a couple Lookout areas.

If you enjoy shopping, Destiny shopping mall is approximately 40 minutes south located in Syracuse. Definitely a fun day trip with the best retail stores, restaurants, activity venues, and theater.

Ld's is one of my favorites in the summer and fall for the outdoor seating overlooking the Salmon River. The nachos are amazing and the southwest salad is the best!

The Richland Hotel is located a quarter mile from our lodging. If you like burgers, wings, or beer, Crystal (the owner) will hook you up! Honestly everything on the menu is great. The sports games are always on and 50 cent wings on Sunday is my favorite!

Richland is a small quiet and friendly town. We were once a roaring community when the Train Station brought threw travelers and cargo but today we are a small residential community. Our main local business is the Circle K Gas Station and Deli. We do however have a small Post Office, Fire Department, Salon, Bar and Grill, Church and Playground.
