El Medano is a MUST on your places to visit. It has a hippy feel to it, lots of cafe's and restaurants where you can watch the locals on the beach, in the sea and kite surfing. We love it there.

Shopping
Great to place to shop for clothes. High street stores are all there such as H&M, Mango, Pull & Bear plus many more. There are also some restaurants on the top floor too.

Las Chafiras is the place to get everything from, it has Supermarkets (Mercadona, HiperDino), also has furniture shops like Ikea plus many many more, they also have a Farmers Market every Saturday & Sunday, which is a must on your places to go - it is all locals and all fresh food. It is located near the Fire Station. When you see McDonalds/Burger King/KFC - you are in Las Chafiras.

Sightseeing
There are many boats trips from Las Galletas including Dolphin & Whale Trips - I can highly recommend you do one of these, the amount of Dolphins we saw was amazing.
