Take the T, take Amtrak, take Commuter rail you can find it all at Back Bay Station. The Back Bay train station is a 10 minute walk from the house through the Southwest Corridor Park by Copley Place. Insider secret : The commuter rail trains are FREE from Back Bay to South Station. Save the cab fare and the traffic hassle. It only takes 5 minutes on the commuter rail to go from Back Bay to South Station. If you are coming to Boston on the Amtrak train, commuter train or by bus the commuter rail fare (no traffic) to Back Bay Station from South Station is less than $3. Its still only $4 if you buy the ticket on the train. South Station also connects to the Silver line train to the airport

Haley House Cafe on Saturdays at 5:30pm has a 3 course organic, freshly cooked dinner for $10. It's called Community Tables. You sit family style as your dinner is served. You meet the world, your world family from Africa to Afghanistan and everybody and everyplace in between. You make new friends
They also have a killer Sunday brunch. Give yourself time. On Sundays it can get crowded. They have live Jazz, open Mic nights, poetry and book reading, I can go on and on. Haley House is one of my favorite places in Boston.
