Arrieta is a small fishing village on the northeast coast. There are some fantastic fish restaurants right on beach, where the fish couldn't get any fresher. Several restaurants are very popular with the locals. Try Casa de la Playa or El Amanecer.

Clean and well set out water park. Well run, not overly big but plenty there. Our children spent hours on the lazy river. About 45mins drive from the villa but can spend the whole day there.

Eurospar stores have everything you need for self catering. The larger stores have have an excellent fishmonger. The staff will fillet, gut and scale any fish for you, and even prepare it for the barbecue.
There is a smaller eurospar in Teguise.

Parks & Nature
Amazing views of the volcanoes. Even though its very touristy, it is worth a visit. The bus tour is really interesting and a little bit scary at times on the sharp bends!
