La Pintada, culturally is a very rich and varied District, has one of the social and religious traditions with over 250 years of history, heritage of our Colonial period, called El Topón, which contains the pilgrimage of two religious images, The Virgin Mary called La Pascualita, and the child God. This tradition is involved, in the old mayordomia of going from field to field through two different routes, these images, to later meet or meet in the Plaza de El Topón on the night of December 25 with hundreds of peasants from the mountains.
