Nice pub to stop on your way to the city centre. Slightly touristy, but has a nice terrace for a coffee or pint. Walk behind the pub to find the south-west entrance to the Christ Church Meadows.

Sightseeing

Cross the main road (Abingdon Rd) and use either of the two entrances to the Brasenose College Recreation Ground to shortcut to the river and boat houses. NB the south gate is locked fairly often.
