It is an unspoilt beach that has very safe swimming, kayaking, sailing and still never crowed. Look out for the Pied Oysters Catches and Pacific Gulls about mid beach. It is within easy walking distance of our place.

You get great coastal views and may even spot a passing whale along this very rugged coastline where the granite slabs and cliffs drop up to 400m straight into the sea. It is a 10km drive into the National Park and turn to the left past Freycinet Lodge. Well worth a visit.

This has wonderfull oysters and mussels grown locally by Julia and Giles Fisher in Great Oyster Bay and Moulting Lagoon. Beautifully prepared and tasty they farm their own oysters and mussels and can show you their farming operation nearby. It grew up as a road side stall but now is must stop over for most visiting Freycinet.
