A very pleasant historic local pub, dating back to 1600, and a fireside destination after a walk by the seaside, or up the Almond river, or visiting the Roman legionary camp with its bathhouse in the nearby Cramond Churchyard. The low tide walk out to Cramond Island (Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island prototype and interesting for the views and old WW2 defences) is great, but be very careful to return before the tide does!
