Drinks & Nightlife

Nice place with many bars. Also on your way there you will see loads of bars and restaurants. Actually, the people from Amsterdam go out in this area and not in the center. So have a look!

Cheap and good food? You can fill up your stomach here for less than € 10,-. Do not expect too much of decoration etc but the place is clean and staff are friendly. Kitchen: Chinese and Surinam food.

For a drink and a meal just around the corner go to Ruis. The van der Helstplein is a very nice square, many families who live in the neighourhood go there on Sundays. Staff is very friendly, we are regulars ourselves!
