This is the primo spot on the island to sit on the beach and have a bite and/or a drink. The best part is, it's right across the street! You will love to sit over the sand with a cold drink and some great food. The Curry Shrimp Toast is fantastic.

We only recently discovered this gem, and even though it is a bit further of a drive or walk, it is incredible coffee and nice people serving. They also serve breakfast - homemade biscuits and muffins are wonderful. While you are up that way, go a little further on the North End and walk out on the pier with your coffee. You'll be glad you did!

The iconic Britt's Donuts has been around since the 1930's, and the recipe has barely changed! It will be your best-tasting experience on the island. There will usually be a line, or you can sit at the counter and eat. Make sure you eat it while it's hot!
