Food Scene
Tiburon (the city) is just 10 minutes further in Marin County and Waypoint Pizza is a restaurant there. My favorite pizza! The dough is delicious, but I strongly encourage you to try a Between the Sheets pizza that essentially is supposed to be eaten like a sandwich (fold the personal sized pizza in half). I have tried every single one and I have been going here for maybe 14 years and I still say my favorite is the Thai Style Between the Sheets (ask for extra peanut sauce).

Super cute outdoor area in the back. It's a pretty clean dive bar that sometimes has great live music and plays all the big games.

Walking distance from the apartment or a few minute drive (there is parking around this spot- this is a part of Sausalito that doesn't' get hit as badly by the tourist traffic). This place is GREAT for a sunny/warm day. Indoor and outdoor seating, a fire pit, and a bocce ball court that is right in front of medium sized patch of private beach! Your view will be of all the boats in the marina. This place you can sunbathe while enjoying access to waiter service still. Highly recommend the pizzas and a pitcher of beer.

Marin Headlands
Amazing eye level view of the Golden Gate Bridge with San Francisco in the back!
The most beautiful park filled with giant redwood trees. If you have never seen a redwood tree up close, highly recommend that you go for a visit! This is friendly for someone that just wants to take a light stroll (there is a wooden path that has been built) or for someone looking to do a hike (there are paths that branch off of the main wooden path, and it is circular so it doesn't matter which route you take because you will end up where you started!)

Muir Woods National Monument
The most beautiful park filled with giant redwood trees. If you have never seen a redwood tree up close, highly recommend that you go for a visit!
