We love the Wharf area, and love when we get to see a show at the Anthem. We've seen the Lumineers, Sara Bareilles, She & Him, and countless others here! We love the vibe of the Wharf in general. Our favorite restaurant is Lupo Marino, and we love grabbing a drink up at Whiskey Charlie (on top of the Canopy Hotel).

Fancy shops and restaurants are new to this little area called Center City. It's always adorably decorated for the holidays, too.

Food scene

We love eating outside here on a nice evening. Pro tip : get 1-2 orders of fajitas for the whole family, ask for extra cheese, beans and rice, and you can save some cash! Margaritas are also delish:)

Since I like wine but don't know anything about it, the fact that their menu has clear descriptions of the wine, what you'll like based on general wine categories, and amazingly helpful staff, you'll always find a delicious choice for you! Only a few outside tables, but they're fun if you can snag one.

We love this place! Fast casual and DELISH! The staff is super helpful with recommendations, and grab a cold beer to wash all of that yummy (sometimes spicy!) food down. Sit at tables with benches and enjoy all of the delights. We love the double-fried chicken, the veggie fried rice, and the brussels!

City advice

Don't miss

All of the Smithsonian Museums

The Smithsonian Museums are free an open to the public daily. They are fun for kids and grown-ups. We love all of them, but The African American Museum along with the Museum of the American Indian, along with the Portrait Gallery are unique and wonderful. You can't go wrong with any of the Smithsonians!
Getting around

The Metro can be a great way to see the city

You will have metro cards for each member of your party that you can fill with whatever amount of money you need. These cards should be returned to the apartment upon check-out. Thanks!
