They're famous for their cream puffs, but I love them for their 24hr old-school diner. Aunties that have been there forever serving up delicious and inexpensive late-night grub. Closed Mondays.

Again, don't believe the hype! Pretty much anything you read will tell you Giovanni's is the best shrimp truck on North Shore. Nope. THIS is the truck. Cash only, coconut and spicy garlic are my faves

Corner store/best shave ice on island. I know all the rage is about Matsumoto's on North Shore, but I'm a firm believe that it doesn't get better than this. Be sure to go to the original on Waiola St.
