Entertainment & Activities

Flea market every Sunday by the old Berlin Wall. Be sure to check out the Bear Pit Karaoke, which starts at 3 pm and is especially crowded when the weather is nice. Grab a beer on the way there, arrive early to get a good seat and enjoy the show or even perform yourself!

Drinks & Nightlife

One of my favorite bars in Berlin. Cozy and hip atmosphere lit up only with candles, decorated with fresh flowers throughout the entire space and with bare concrete walls for a style mix. It's quite small and often crowded, but has good drinks and music.

My favorite hangout for a quick - or not so quick - drink! Tiny place with Mexican food that feels more like your friendly neighborhood bar than a restaurant. Grab a beer, drink original Mexican mezcal and dance the night away to Latino music. Tell Leo I sent you ;)

No-frills, laid-back bar with cheap drinks and often even cheaper/trashier music ;) Fun vibe if you don't feel like going to a fancy or typical Berlin hipster place.

If you want to do Karaoke, this is going to have to be the place you go. There is a main stage at which anyone can submit notes with song requests for themselves as well as small booths that can be rented by the hour in groups. Be aware there might be a several hour wait for them, depending on which day and at what time you arrive! The main stage tends to be quite full as well though, so if you get a fun group together, getting a booth could definitely be worth it to make sure you actually get to sing.
