Even though Athens is well known for Akropoli, Plaka, Monastiraki, don`t miss the chance to visit the new hot-spot of the town. Located at Sygrou Avenue, close to the seaside, this venue has it all. The Opera house, the National Library, an a stunning view of Athens, a wonderfull park, a canal, places to eat, walk , drink, rent a bicycle. Highly recommended.

Kifisia is the other famous shopping center of Athens (besides Glyfada and Ermou str). Located at the Northern Suburbs, you can shop from Prada to Zara, eat from Greek to Vietnamese cuisine and of course have a capuccino in one of many coffee shops there.

It is almost 300 meters from my apartment. You will find a supermarket for your essentials and many more. A very successful mall in which you can spend hours, shopping, eating, drinking, watching a movie (all English movies in Greece are displayed with subtitles).
