This is a small, lovely island worth visiting! You can also walk from there to the other nearby islands. Uunisaari is only 10 minutes boat trip from Kaivopuisto Park (Kompassitori). During the summer there is a boat connection and during the winter you can easily walk there using the bridge.
If you try the food, i recommend to take the salmon soupI

Perhaps not so well known Hietalahti market Square has besides the old market hall, also a flee market during the summer time. In the market hall, they have all kind of happenings during the evenings, including wine tastings and live music - not to mention plenty of nice restaurants. Check their calendar (also in facebook)!
