This market is a must when you're visiting Lisbon, not only because of the bargains you can find there but for the environment as well. Every Tuesday and Saturday morning. Make sure you don't miss it!

One of my favorite squares in Lisbon. There are cafes and restaurants or you can just sit and enjoy the environment. This square was the stage of 1974 revolution that ended 41 years of dictatorship.

If you're in Lisbon there's no way to not be in this square. You'll definitely pass by. My suggestion is: stop and have a "ginginha" or a "amêndoa amarga": two typical portuguese licours.

Food Scene

In Lisbon downtown there's this great vintage clothing shop. This is a very trendy place where you can have great snacks as well. Try the great teas they have and hot sandwiches!

Great restaurant! Excelent food and the owner is the perfect host. For those who smoke this is one of the rare places where you can smoke inside, but still the environment is very calm and clean. Top!
