A great local winery with a rich history of wine making by the Marist Brothers. On a clear day, outdoor lunches on the lawn overlooking Napier are a visitors must when in HB. You can also tour the winery and sample the wines.

Drinks & Nightlife

In the summer, this is one of the many eateries over looking the Iron Pot harbour. Enjoy the views of the fishing boats while enjoying a cool summer refreshment. In winter, if you are there early, you might be lucky to enjoy a glass of wine by the fire.

Sightseeing

From the Napier Lookout, there is a stunning view over what was the Inner Harbour before the 1931 Earthquake. The reclaimed land has become the Airport and the area of Westshore. Prior to the Earthquake there was only a spit along the Westshore foreshore. Take care driving up to the Lookout as the road is rather narrow and winding. Visit the MTG Museum on Marine Parade and view a movie of Napier Before and After the Quake.
