Superb 'proper' pub doing real ales and food. This place is a gem. Basic, good food - chilli and rice, sausages and mash, jacket potato - at a reasonable price. Great real ales which change every week from independent breweries.

You've got to go because you're here! Be a 'grockle', eat your 'nammett' and travel round the Island on the Southern Vectis bus, ride the 1930,s ex Underground trains or go on a steam train. Touristy beach and quiet country walks. Hovercraft gets you there in ten minutes!
