La Tuna Grill has great food and is a 15 min walk. The fish tacos and burgers are great. For drinks, bring cash for La Tuna bar which is on the same lot. Drinks are always affordable and sometimes there is live music.

Amazing coffee and cinnamon rolls on the river. The pecan nut rolls are incredible. My favorite is to grab it to go and walk on the river and find a place for a little picnic.

Sightseeing

If you want a better idea about the Alamo looked liked and how people lived, go to Mission San Jose to see the whole structure and how the people lived. It is a fun bike from Blue Star where you can rent bikes and ride on the river for a few miles.
