The aqua park is a good day out for families and couples. The park is painted every year and always looks well presented. You can take your own food and drinks but they are also available to buy inside the park. Just be careful to take your sunscreen, especially for younger children.

If you ever get in Romania in the summer and want to spend a few days sunbathing, Mamaia is the place to go. The prices are a bit high for what it is offered, but this is by far one of the best beaches in terms of length, food and hotels.

Quite a lot of local history here. If you take care to see the entire Archeological and History Museum you will find a lot of interesting exhibits. One of the best stops in Constanta.
Most of the tourists have seen inside portion of this museum...there are a couple terraced areas outside...but I was struck by how beautiful the original mosaic floor is and how well preserved from about the 4th century. This area was discovered by accident in 1959 when work was being done on the adjoining square. It is a great find!
