A gorgeous park just around the corner from our apartment. The Lakes have numerous wildlife including turtles! Great for an afternoon stroll. Check out the Chinese Friendship Garden - it's so sweet.

If you keep walking up Bel Air Drive, you will hit a walking track that takes you to the most amazing view of Cairns and the ocean. Highly recommended and its only a short walk to the view. If you keep following the track it eventually leads to the Blue and Red Arrow hiking tracks after a few hours.

If you keep walking up Bel Air Drive, you will hit a walking track that takes you to the most amazing view of Cairns and the ocean. Highly recommended and its only a short walk to the view. If you keep following the track it eventually leads to the Blue and Red Arrow hiking tracks after a few hours.
Stemming off the Red Arrow, the Blue Arrow takes about 2 hours.
