If you'd like to see the very edge of Cape Town, where its purported that the Atlantic meets the Indian Ocean, then a trip to Cape Point is recommended. It's always windy here, so bear that in mind.

If you're feeling adventurous and need some exercise, a 40min hike up to the top of Lion's Head will give you the most spectacular 360 view of Cape Town. It's not overly tough and definitely worth it.

If you're visiting Cape Town, you'd better make time to go up the Cable Car. Sure it's quite touristy, but the view from the top is insane! Be sure to get there early - it's crazy busy in peak times.

The reserve is right at the top of Ou Kaapse Weg (a road that climbs straight up the back of Table Mountain). There's a reservoir you can swim in and a hike to Elephant's eye that's easy and fun.
