This is a park in a very old neighborhood of Richmond called Church Hill. The view from the park overlooking Shockoe Bottom is worth the stop. Pick up something delicious from Proper Pie down the street and walk over to enjoy a bite in the park.

Part of the James River Parks System, Belle Isle is a spectacular slice of nature situated in the middle of the James River. Walk there from our home through Forest Hill Park and head east along the Reedy Creek Trail. This makes for a nice casual bike ride, or a nice stroll.
