I always shop at Sainsburys in preference to other supermarkets as they usually have friendly staff, and comparatively reasonable prices.
The store is quite large. In addition to the usual food items, it also has sections for clothes, electrical goods, DVDs & books, stationary, and toys.
If you have a car, they have a large multi-storey car park which is easy to park in. The machines at the car park entrance give you a plastic card ticket. The parking is free if you buy over £15 worth of goods. Remember to ask the cashier to validate the card on paying for your items.
Remember to: bring your 'bags-for-life', Nectar Card, and to get your parking card validated by the cashier.
