Oscoda has one of the best beaches on Lake Huron- clear water, sandy bottom (rocky further north) and huge sandy beach.

Great old movie theater, usually starts at 7 but has a second show at 9 in the summer. Really cute and low cost, movies are typically family friendly.

The owner, Scotty, makes homemade donuts and opens at 8am. Typically a line to get the donuts (they are like cider mill donuts) but he makes a lot and the line goes fast.
