Driving through the forest out the to Beqaa Valley—or back to Beirut from the Beqaa—is really special. Some nice walks here, none of which are very taxing.

Sami El SolhYou can hop a direct bus to Tripoli for LL5,000 here—this is the fancy way to get there. The station is located underneath the highway, and the easiest way to get to it is through Saifi Urban Gardens. Otherwise, just grab any small Triploi-bound van with red plates by the side of the highway, anywhere, and you'll get there (in a more cramped fashion) for LL1,000.

You can hop a direct bus to Tripoli for LL5,000 here—this is the fancy way to get there. The station is located underneath the highway, and the easiest way to get to it is through Saifi Urban Gardens. Most south- and eastbound buses pick up here: Saida, Shouf, Baalbeck, etc. You won't pay more than LL5,000 or LL7,000 to get anywhere. For a direct bus to Sour (Tyre), start at the Kuwaiti Embassy, just a bit further south on the same road.
