Beautiful place for traditional meal - Ćevapi (minced meat from barbecue with onions and served in special kind of bread called 'somun', a lot of people likes to drink yogurt with it)

The best place for another traditional meal Pita. There is a few different kinds ( Burek - pie with minced meat, Buredžici - similar to Burek, but with cream and garlic on top, trust me excellent one:), Krompiruša - pie with potato, good also for vegans and vegetarians :) like I am, Zeljanica - pie with spinach, Sirnica - pie with cheese) You can always ask for some free cream on top, just say 'sa pavlakom'.

This cafe has a lovely garden where you can enjoy delicious meals and amazing coffee. Prices are reasonable, not super cheap but definitely not expensive. It is 5 minutes walk from the apartment. It has a nice interior so you can visit it at any part of the year.

This is the best bookstore in the city. There you can find a lot of books in English. My recommendation would be to read Aleksandar Hemon. Personally, my favorite book he wrote is the Book of my lives.

Just down the street, you'll find a nice supermarket with all the necessary groceries with a selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. Great place to buy something for breakfast!

If like me you enjoy wandering through local markets and buying fresh fruits and vegetables you'll love this little market hidden in the middle of our neighborhood. It is 10-15 minutes walk from the apartment.
