Parks & Nature
Capalaba Regional Park (13 Pittwin North Rd, behind Bunnings) is 14 hectares of beautiful space with something for everyone. It has ample parking, and is an easy walk from the Capalaba Bus Interchange.
For walkers, joggers and cyclists, paved paths meander through the park and link to other paths beyond. Capalaba's walkers are a friendly bunch and always ready with a smile and a g'day. Dog lovers can allow Fido off the leash after his walk in the off-leash area.

Life is so busy these days and we never seem to have enough hours in the day to fit everything in, so a meal cooked by someone else and no washing up afterwards is just the thing at least one night a week.
Capalaba Sports Club on Ney Road is in walking distance from my place and I can catch the courtesy bus home if I choose. Different specials are provided each night so you can choose your night off as chef. Tuesday you may like to have lasagne, Thursday a rump or Friday fish of the day, all served with chips and salad. Specials are available each night of the week. Or you may just prefer to choose from the menu provided, the choice is yours. The night my brother and I dined out, he gave the thumbs up to vegetarian lasagne and I was very impressed by the fish of the day coming out with calamari as well. High Steaks Restaurant certainly don't skimp on size either. As the old saying goes, if the restaurant is busy and full of people, you know you have come to the right place to eat.
