Amazing family Italian restaurant in Caldas das Rainhas. It’s expensive from a Portugues perspective but very reasonable compared to UK or Ireland prices. Food is fantastic…and you must keep room for desserts. Authentic Italian

Excellent restaurant just outside the walls of the medieval town. Traditional Portuguese with a fantastic ambience. Blackened pig is delicious. Fast become g a favourite. Do not miss this one…Pedro is the owner and a great guy.

Entertainment & Activities
Horse riding stables. Run by Ricardo Rebalo and Oscar Costa. The stables are professionally managed and the horses are well looked after. There is a large indoor training ring which is busy most days with kids learning to ride. This is a great opportunity to learn to ride and then enjoy riding through the pine and eucalyptus forests and along the cliffs looking down on the Atlantic breakers. Ricardo and Oscar bring their horses in a transporter to the Lagoon near Praia Del Rey and stops are organised for lunches and coffee.
