My favorite family owned trattoria, a super friendly place to get local home made food and/or good coffee. It is essential to make a reservation during the main season.

Beautiful atmosphere in the middle of rolling Tuscan hills. Nice views. Always very friendly. Make sure to reserve at least few days before your planned visit.

Very good local food run by a local family. The service is sometimes very slow, so come if you do not rush.

Sightseeing

From Roccatederighi, take a 30 minute hike to a monumental ruins of the medieval half forgotten castle of Sassoforte. Located on a top of a hill between Roccatederighi and Sassoforte, this is a must for every hiker. Unique, unspoiled, half forgotten.

Ruins of the medieval castle Montemassi. Breathtaking views, quiet and tranquil village of the same name. Only 3 K by walk. Fantastic sunsets from the top of the castle. Beautiful also late at nights as the castle is illuminated. A must.

A marvelous historical center of this medieval village offers truly stunning views, especially from behind the church of San Martino located at the very top of the center.

A pristine natural beach. Arrive early to get a spot at a relatively small parking lot. Otherwise you will have to take a shuttle from Alberese. Do not miss this gem.

Local hot springs of Terme Petriolo are probably one of my very favorite parts of living in Tuscany. You can visit these free springs 24/7. No charge is you stay by the river :)

A very beautiful natural beach on the south of the town with a 5 km long stretch of sand. Alternatively, there are developed beaches right in town with many bars and restaurants. You will need to rent and sunbed to stay there.
