Arts & Culture

A bit of a drive (40 minutes) out of town. FREE. Also pretty cool, they give you information, so you understand what you are seeing. Also a dog friendly location, although they must be on leash. If you are here during off season, keys can be procured at state bath house.

This is a great museum. There is a supersaurus on display as well as tons of other fossils. I was recently to Fossil Butte National Monument and the Wyoming Dinosaur Center is significantly better. Great for kids and adults alike. They also have dig sites, which visitors can volunteer at.
