Great tapas and famous sandwiches! The speciality is the "Sandes de Pernil" with amazing cheese from the mountains. It might be a bit crowded but is definitely worth it.

Amazing tapas in a beautiful, very well decorated restaurant. Museu d'Avó translated means Grandmother museum, and it kinda looks like one! Only for dinner, very close to the night life area.

Getting Around

With our very steep streets, renting a scooter is actually a perfect way to get to know Porto. Just 2 mintues away from the apartment you have the AlegriaRide, scooter rental. I ride a scooter myself in my lovely city and if you are used to it I really recommend you trying. Good for people that don't want to stay confined to the city center. Ride a scooter to the beach!

Sightseeing

The 18th century Clérigos Tower, is consider the ex libris of Porto. One must pay 4€ to go up the tower, with the reward of a beautiful panoramic view over the city. But even if your not really fond of climbing up towers you should definitely pass close to it and check it out, a big meeting point right next to the student area.

Arts & Culture

The Serralves museum is a beautiful contemporary art museum, where a lot of famous names in the art world have been represented. Besides the "rock stars" artists who were already exposed there, the actual building and the surroundings are stunning! Beautiful romantic gardens to get lost in. :)
