If you love sushi, Yu-Mi Sushi is the place to go. It is a hole in the wall restaurant located at Promenade Plaza which is around the corner from the Empty Nest and within walking distance. We love the Toyko Love Story and the Spider Roll. Try to get there around 5:00 or you will experience a long wait.

Miller's Ale House is in Promenade Plaza, right around the corner from the house, close enough to even walk to. They serve good burgers and typical bar food. They are consistent with their food. It's a place to go for a casual dinner.

Guanabanas is a tropical, island themed open air, restaurant and bar, with tiki huts and banyan trees. It is a seafood, waterfront restaurant that is popular with tourists but also with many locals. Might be hot in the summer time since it's outdoors though.

Peanuts Island has a great walking path around the island, lots of pavilions to eat a picnic lunch and great sandy beaches to lay out on. Peanut Island is also a great place to do some snorkeling. Make sure if you go to take "DEET" or some kind of insect repellent as the noseeums can be bad.
