Midtown is the place to go if you are looking to avoid the more touristy vibe of downtown. And Losers is probably the best bar in Midtown. You might even stumble across someone famous... Try the sister bar next door, too. Winners. Rebar down the street is a lot of fun, too and they have corn hole and other games outside when the weather is warm enough.

Another midtown hot spot. This location is probably a little more crowded than the one within walking distance to my house.

Demonbreun Street is also a fun place to go if you are over the downtown scene. It will still be plenty crowded on weekends but there are a lot of options including Tin Roof, Dawghouse, SOUTH and more.

My favorite spots(or where i think everyone visiting Nashville will want to go) are Tootsie's(now with a rooftop patio), Tin Roof, Robert's Western World, Crossroads, Rippy's, Paradise Park(best place for a greasy burger at 2AM), Swingin' Doors and Honky Tonk Central(3 story bar/club, right on Broadway.) You really can't go wrong with any bar on Broadway as a tourist, just depending on what mood you are in. Hermitage Cafe is a short walk from downtown if you are looking for late night food/breakfast and they are open 24/7. Expect rude service but it's part of the ambiance.

Entertainment & Activities

Enjoy a historic show at the Ryman Auditorium - The Mother Church of Country Music. Highly suggest you planning your trip around a show here, whether that be your favorite artist or someone you've never heard of. You will enjoy it either way. You could also plan around the Grand Ol' Opry schedule. They do their shows from the Ryman periodically. Or going to the regular Opry venue is a fun experience, too.

New venue in downtown Nashville. Outdoor amphitheater right on riverfront with the most incredible views of Nashville and the Titans Stadium. YOU HAVE TO SEE A SHOW HERE.
