Bradden's serves casual fare American dining, often with unique touches. My favorite appetizer is the fried guacamole! They serve wine and craft beers, and have a lovely outdoor seating space to relax in the shade on a nice afternoon or evening!

First Watch always hits the mark for breakfast or lunch - farm fresh options, both classics and re-imagined selections, cold-pressed juices, fantastic coffee, and great service. There is usually a wait on Saturday and Sunday mornings, but their kitchen is fast and the wait time has never been as long as they've claimed it would be. Plus, they serve free coffee while you wait! :D

Fantastic little spot to grab lunch. The potato soup is the best I've ever had. This is the closest restaurant in walking distance (5 min. walk).

Kind of a step back in time. Old time soda fountain, but with ice cream, and other goodies. Nice staff, and very accommodating. It is a welcome respite to rest your feet and satisfy your sweet tooth.

Bangert Island Park/Trail is a great spot for a short nature walk to some spectacular views of the scenic Missouri River. Guests may enter the 160-acre park from the Katy Trail entrance along Old South River Road in St. Charles and then cross a slough that connects Bangert Island to the mainland. While using the park's 4 miles of natural surface trail for hiking or mountain biking, guests may encounter white-tailed deer, turkey, raccoons, opossums, and a variety of songbirds. A typical wooded Missouri River island, the land features cottonwood, sycamore, box elder, silver maple, and black willow trees. In addition to bird-watching, hiking, bicycling, and photography, park guests may also fish along the banks of the Missouri River that flows below the park
