Arts & Culture

Beautifully located by the Oslo Fjord in a building designed by world-renowned architect Renzo Piano. The museum presents temporary exhibitions of international art, and houses the Astrup Fearnley Collection, one of Norway’s most extensive collections of contemporary art. Don't forget the park and the little beach right outside the museum. Also a lovely area to go for a late night walk or early morning jog. You can take the 21-bus from Observatoriegata to Tjuvholmen if you want to skip the 10 minute walk here. It is one stop with the bus and it takes 1-2 minutes. Combine the museum with a round of shopping at Aker Brygge, or eating out at one of the exclusive Tjuvholmen restaurants.

Not jut sushi, but sushi art. Really like the elegant design, so a great place to eat out, but they also have take-away.
