Best Breakfast in Mid-City, a little difficult to get a table !!! But a better option do Uber Eats and relax that morning hangover away lol just place your order online at Uber Eats and have it delivered. USE CODE “eats-kimk12010ue and get $5.00 off your order”. Everything is good. Fried Andouille Sausage Hash Cakes, Creamy Gritts and the Chicken & Waffles just a few of my favs

Get the Fried Chicken and Greens !!!! Need I say anything more. Other than, this is a neighborhood restaurant that is only 6.5 blocks from Charles House. Get there by 11am or you will have to wait, and wait and wait, but oh soooo worth the wait.

Great food by Chef Barbato's, it is American Food with a N.O. flare. Sitting n the area of the city we call the Bywater. This is a breezy, historical cottage with a pool and cabana bar. Open daily from 10am-1am. My favorite time is the Drag Queen Brunch, with karaoke Sat. at 11am. This a perfect addition to a Bachelorette, Bachelor or Birthday party. Don't leave without trying the "Truffle Mac n Cheese"

This is a local and tourist FAV. A must do when in N.O. be prepared it is busy all the time. They are open 24hrs. so go early in the am hours like after1am but before 10am and you will get in without the 1 to 2 hour wait. Serving Cafe' au laits, Chicory Coffee & Beignets since 1862. If you really enjoy it, you can buy 1lb tins of the Chicory Coffee and the Beignet Mix to take home and enjoy a little taste of N. O. while looking through your photos and sharing the memories of stay in The Big Easy.

This is the BEST BURGER in the city and they also make GREAT salads. The Monsoon is the BEST Drink DEAL in the French Quarters, it is 32oz of light and dark rum and their house punch. Be careful you may want to share this drink or get it in the famous Port of Call "To Go" cup and walk the Quarters.

There are several really good poor boy spots in New Orleans but favorite is Mahony's. Don't leave without getting an oyster or shrimp poor boy. Better yet get it the way I do 1/2 n 1/2 with Butter pickles and Crystal hot sauce.

Entertainment & Activities

During the fall festival season there is a free outdoor live concert every Thursday. Many of the local food vendors are there selling there yum yums. Take a blank and grab something to eat and enjoy the music. The same thing happens during the spring at Lafayette Square on Wednesdays (starts about 4pm both locations)
