If you are an architecture geek and you love danish architect Jørn Utzon, these houses are a MUST! Built between 1957 and 1960, they consist of 60 gardenhoses placed in a hilly landscape between Kingosvej, Carl Plougs Vej, Gurrevej and Montebello.
The houses are app. 100 m², built as angle houses on a 15 x 15 m plot. The houses are beautifully placed in the landscape consisting of hills, a lake and a meadow.
Originally called the Kingo houses, people quickly named them the roman houses, as the design recalls the old roman atrium houses.
